Flavorful Delicious Masala Chai

Here’s a delicious masala chai recipe using CHAYONARA Chai Masala, a blend of 20 aromatic spices and herbs:

Ingredients:

  1. Two cups water
    2. Two cups whole milk
    3. Two teaspoons loose black tea leaves or a
    couple of black tea bags
    4. Sweetener (optional): 2 spoons sugar or jaggery or honey (adjust to taste)
    5. Half a teaspoon CHAYONARA Chai Masala

RECIPE:

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and milk. Bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  2. Once the mixture comes to a boil, add the loose black tea leaves or tea bags.
  3. Add CHAYONARA Chai Masala.
  4. Lower the heat and let the tea simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse into the liquid.
  5. Stir occasionally.
  6. Add sugar to the tea and stir until it dissolves. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference. You can also use honey or jaggery instead of sugar for a different flavor or not add the sweetener.
  7. Once the tea has simmered and the flavors have melded, strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or a tea strainer to remove the tea leaves and whole spices.
  8. Pour the masala chai into cups and serve hot. You can also froth the chai by pouring it back and forth between two cups or using a frother for a creamy texture.
