Here’s a delicious masala chai recipe using CHAYONARA Chai Masala, a blend of 20 aromatic spices and herbs:
Ingredients:
- Two cups water
2. Two cups whole milk
3. Two teaspoons loose black tea leaves or a
couple of black tea bags
4. Sweetener (optional): 2 spoons sugar or jaggery or honey (adjust to taste)
5. Half a teaspoon CHAYONARA Chai Masala
RECIPE:
- In a saucepan, combine water and milk. Bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Once the mixture comes to a boil, add the loose black tea leaves or tea bags.
- Add CHAYONARA Chai Masala.
- Lower the heat and let the tea simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse into the liquid.
- Stir occasionally.
- Add sugar to the tea and stir until it dissolves. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference. You can also use honey or jaggery instead of sugar for a different flavor or not add the sweetener.
- Once the tea has simmered and the flavors have melded, strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or a tea strainer to remove the tea leaves and whole spices.
- Pour the masala chai into cups and serve hot. You can also froth the chai by pouring it back and forth between two cups or using a frother for a creamy texture.
